Job Title: Purchasing Admin Assistant

Location: Horsham

Salary: £20,000 per annum (£10.25 per hour)

Job Type: Full Time – temporary.

We need a person on a temporary 3-month contract to help cover administration using MRP computer databases in our Purchasing Department, whilst an ongoing project is covered by current staff.

The role entails;

  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Progress chasing overdue purchase orders or non-acknowledged orders weekly.
  • Raise the call offs required for the department.
  • Other admin duties including filing.

You will need to have;

  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy (GCSE in Math’s & English or equivalent).
  • A familiarity with computers and database systems.
  • A professional manner towards colleagues and customers/suppliers.
  • A good team ethos with willingness to work overtime hours when necessary.

If you have excellent computer database (MRP) skills and have an eye for detail, with good communication skills and general experience in administration we’d like to hear from you!

Please Note: – You will need to have your own transport as we are in a rural area and public transport is limited.
