08.00 – 17.30hrs Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 15:00hrs Friday

We design & manufacture a range of standard lighting, control products and custom special projects and solutions for our customers.
We are a small and proactive team of around 30 people with big ambitions so attitude is everything – you will be that positive person, organised, unflappable and cheerful. No two days will be the same in this role working alongside the Operations Manager and Logistics Manager.

Main Tasks
- Involvement across the whole manufacturing process, ensuring the products get to the customers on time and to quality standards is the number one objective.
- Alongside the Operations Manager, ensuring the timely arrival of components from suppliers, monitoring production scheduling and assisting with the designing and implementation of systems and processes to create a disciplined and orderly approach to manufacture.
- Working with the Logistics Manager to improve purchasing, procurement, stocking and logistics planning and execution.
- Liaising with the rest of the GDS team to drive success.

- Meticulous attention to detail is also a prerequisite to ensure the production processes continue to operate effectively.
