Job Title: Managing Consultant

Location: Manchester City Centre (Circle Square on Oxford Road)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 / year, £64k OTE with an uncapped commission structure and low threshold.

Job type: Full Time, 36 hours a week over 4.5 days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the office

Flexible Working: Three days office/client visit based.

This programme enables experienced Software Developers who have taken a career break the ability to return to technology after completing an 8- or 12-week programme.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be leading the recruitment opportunities for the group known as the “Opportunities Tribe” which consists of two squads (Northcoders and Tech Returners).

The objective of the “Opportunities Tribe” is focused on sourcing placement opportunities for both our NC graduates which are joining the industry as junior developers and are placed for a zero fee, and also Tech Returners who are experienced individuals (mid-senior level engineers) looking to reignite their careers back into tech who are placed for a flat fee.

You will lead by example by supporting the mid to senior consultants on securing opportunities (30%) whilst identifying your own leads (70%).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

We believe these needs someone with:

  • At least 5 years’ successful experience within a recruitment agency working in the technology sector.
  • Experience managing teams within a recruitment agency setting
  • You will be a Diversity inclusion and equity advocate.
  • Understanding of inclusive hiring processes
  • Excellent B2B skills, with an empathetic and considered approach to your communication.
  • Have a Growth Mindset approach to Business Development, building progressive, Influential, and collaborative relationships.
  • Experience of using Eventbrite, Meet Up and other event management tools.
  • Be confident in public speaking and attending events.
  • Have a keen eye for an opportunity and know how best to act upon it
  • Drive and commitment to make a difference.
