Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary: Circa. £50,000 Per Annum
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40.0 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm
We are recruiting for a new position of Management Accountant, who will be responsible for maintaining and delivering accurate financial information and ensuring financial compliance, working within our Finance team alongside purchase ledger and credit control, reporting directly to our Director of Finance.
Centrado is a progressive UK company that supplies materials to the picture framing industry. We supply all materials required for making a frame. We have grown through geographical expansion, competitive sourcing and increased product range and have just recently moved into larger, new purpose-built premises in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire. Key Duties
- Manage the regular financial operations within the business, including preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of full budget variance commentary, VAT returns and updating financial forecasts
- Ensure the business meets all statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues
- First point of contact for external auditors
- Look for cost reduction opportunities
- Present year end accounts
Key Requirements
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel and accounting Software (ideally SAP Business One
- Effective commercial judgement and decision-making
