Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – IRATA Level 3 Technician

The Role:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all site operations, ensuring work is completed according to plan while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, performing maintenance, and managing repairs of fabric and glass steel buildings and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, providing instruction and supervision to site worker and subcontractors.
- Liaise with site/client contacts to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place and signed off before work commences.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks as per the supplied manual.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines and procedures are followed on-site.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on installations and air machines
- Complete technical reports for each worksite.
- Maintain accurate records of daily progress, incidents, and project changes.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted via the project management software.
- Inspect rope access equipment, complete records, and identify necessary replacements.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and commit to professional development.
Essential Qualifications:
- IRATA Level 3 certification
- First Aid at Work certificate
Candidates will be expected to attain the following qualifications if they do not already possess them. Full training will be provided as needed:
- SSSTS
- CSCS Gold Card
- PASMA – Tower
- IPAF 1b, 3a & 3b
- Electrical Machinery Maintenance Training (In-house)
- Examination of Rigging Equipment (In-house)
Other requirements:
Some of our project sites require a Sentinel card (Rail projects) and Basic/Enhanced DBS and Disclosure Scotland checks for any workers accessing their sites.
All job offers are subject to satisfactory criminal record checks and approval through the Network Rail Sentinel service.
Candidates must have a UK driving licence and be able to drive manual vehicles.
Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient with site management software and Microsoft Office packages
- Experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry is desirable
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge and experience of membranes and glass is desirable
