Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Office-based – Maldon
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent/Full Time – 40 hours per week
Key Accountabilities:
Provide first line maintenance support for all production departments.
Responsibilities:
- Attend to equipment breakdowns.
- As appropriate escalate breakdowns to production engineering.
- Carry out planned maintenance activities across critical plant.
- Work with production and production engineering to implement improvements to shop floor.
- Work with production and Health & Safety manager to implement safety improvements.
- Record all maintenance works completed.
- Assist as with service activities.
- Work flexibly within the engineering to support as required.
Education, Skills and Competencies:
- City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in appropriate engineering discipline.
- 5 years + experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Good understanding of structured problem solving.
