Job Title: Logistics Supervisor
Location: Didcot Quarter, (Near Milton Park), Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 depending on skills and experience, plus bonus
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)
The Role:
In this hands on position you will be responsible for coordinating the day to day movement of goods passing through our purpose built logistics facility. You will supervise and support a team of experienced operatives with the collection, storage and delivery of high value medical components in an environment where safety and quality are our top priority. The role is process driven and involves both manual handling and use of MHE (full training provided). Professional conduct and an ability to communicate well with colleagues is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure smooth running of the Logistics Operation
- Assist with training operatives and monitor performance and progress
- Safely load and unload vehicles and deliver goods to correct locations
- Follow all processes accurately and promote updates as required
- Ensure internal and external KPI’s are met across the operation

Key Requirements:
- A good command of the English language
- Experience in a logistics or similar working environment
- Experience of supervisory or team leader responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Driving licence and forklift certificates would be beneficial but are not essential
