Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Shift pattern, 4 days on 4 days off)

Role Overview:
Responsible for the booking in and weighing of all incoming and outgoing material at PTP recording stocks for the facility. Also ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role relating to DEFRA/APHA & Environment Agency audits.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Completion of Excise paperwork accurately, ensuring all references and indexes are updated and easily followed
- Weigh in and book out of all vehicles
- Liaise closely with Plant personnel to ensure all requirements for material / tankers are understood and addressed
- Order materials as and when required
- Carry out general office duties including filing, photocopying and general office enquiries
- Manage and maintain the stock of Stationery
- Work closely with Senior Operators / Shift Managers / Plant Manager to report on progress and highlight potential issues
- Administration for stock management
- Ensure all records for incoming raw materials correctly show the carrier/ plant etc. as required for Vet audits
- Ensure HMRC documentation is up to date and in line with best practice
- Ensure all raw materials carriers and critical waste suppliers hold the appropriate licensing
- Ensure company complies with all aspects required of it by HMRC with regards to materials movements
- Responsible for the implementation of the sustainability requirements at all critical points in accordance with ISCC
- Booking of transport/Couriers as and when required to do so
- Liasing with Haulage companies to ensure deliveries expected are on time and there are no issues
- Monthly/weekly/daily KPI completion
- Update Laboratory results as and when required

- Always wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. Take responsibility for your own PPE ensuring appropriate storage and care
- Always strive to work in a manner safe to yourself and others and report any hazards immediately
- Ensure all staff and visitors operate in compliance with Safety regulations
- Full responsibility for the safety of team members
- Full knowledge of the Plant Emergency Procedures and associated responses are required

The Candidate:
Qualifications/ Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- A HND, GNVQ qualification (or equivalent) in Business Administration or related discipline is would be advantageous
- Specific Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Previous logistics experience essential
- Previous office management and clerical experience desirable
