The Department of Education at University College Birmingham is looking to recruit a highly-skilled professional with qualified teacher status for the role of Lecturer of Education.
You will be an expert within your field and have the passion, desire, and experience to contribute to our high performing team. Your qualified teacher status and ability to critically engage with the literature will inform your work with our learners.
Our city-centre location has state-of-the-art teaching and simulation facilities including an early year’s suite where students can immerse themselves in areas that replicate industry (including a sensory room).
Our contemporary and industry-inspired portfolio of programmes focuses on early years education, childhood studies, primary education, and our PGCE Primary (teacher training). The department prides itself on innovative teaching methods and this can be seen through our face-to-face interactive teaching, online-only programme, accelerated degree programmes and extensive partnership work within the local area.
