Salary: Lecturer Qualified: £31,865 -£41,541 (Full-Time Equivalent)
Lecturers Unqualified: £28,315- £30,931 (Full-Time Equivalent)
Job Type: Part time and Full-Time, Permanent, 15 and 37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our business teaching team. The business learning area offers a range of vocational and academic programmes at Level 2, Level 3, A Level, and the upcoming T level offer, across sites with teaching at both Highbury Campus and Sixth Form Campus.
A successful candidate would be working collaboratively within the business team to; teach and assess on a range of business topics and programmes, including management, administration, marketing, finance, and HR; provide high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of our diverse student cohorts; actively contribute to the development and delivery of a high quality, responsive business curriculum, and programmes; provide flexible assessment opportunities, realistic and relevant to the business sector, in line with current industry standards; closely plan and be accountable for monitoring, tracking, and recording student retention, progress, achievement, and success; contribute to and maintain quality assurance of the programmes delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Degree in Business or related subject areas, or vocational experience of the business sector
- Post-graduate Teaching Qualification (or willing to undertake studies towards a PGCE. Full support from the College will be given for this)
- Experience planning, delivering, and assessing business programmes is desirable
- Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional updating and development, both in the business sector and teaching profession
- A professional approach with a commitment to excellence and quality
- An excellent communicator, supportive and co-operative team member
- Commitment to setting high standards, expectations, and aspirations for both self and learners
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- Educated to degree or appropriate trade level in specific subject area
- Appropriate teaching qualification, or willingness to undertake
- Appropriate Assessor/Verifier qualification, or willingness to undertake
- Teaching experience, or an understanding of the role of a teacher and the professional responsibilities
- Relevant and up to date industrial and/or subject related experience
- Experience of delivering teaching/training in a diverse environment
