As a Learning & Development Manager you will help our company succeed by training and developing its people, ensuring that we are continually working to our best abilities.

You’ll be immersed in a creative and fast-paced environment where every day you will be helping people grow whilst shaping a learning and development strategy.
As Learning and Development Manager, you will take ownership of designing and developing training solutions. Your dynamic and innovative approach will allow employees to maximise their potential in their current role and progression opportunities. You will make a real difference to the business by identifying training and developmental needs whilst driving suitable training initiatives at all levels of the business from upskilling to leadership and management. Being an avid learner, you will maintain knowledge of the latest learning practices and seek new ways to implement processes, measuring the effectiveness of learning programmes and using the results to influence future initiatives.
A Typical Day:
- Delivering training and development to support current employees making sure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively do their job.
- Designing and delivering training sessions such as Customer Service, Values, Equality & Diversity, People Management focussed training, train the trainer and much more.
- Conducting ‘Training Needs Analysis’ as and when required
- Creating training materials and programmes to address specific business objectives.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and create bespoke solutions to address challenges or opportunities that arise.
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes.
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments and best practices.
- Identifying and implementing a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency.
- Capturing feedback to continuously adapt and improve training.
- Growing our structured development course, specifically apprenticeships and graduate programmes and optimise the value of our Apprenticeship Levy fund.
Is This Role For You?
- You have experience of leading and shaping a learning and development strategy.
- You have experience of developing and implementing a variety of learning and development training programmes.
- You are confident in delivering training through various methods.
- You are well versed in tracking performance of training programmes, writing reports and recommending strategies for improvement.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong organisation, planning and time management skills.
- You are self-motivated and decisive individual with the ability to adapt to change when needed.
