Job Title: Landscape Operative / Landscape Gardener

A bit about us:
Haywood Landscapes have been designing and building beautiful gardens since 1990 when brothers Andy and Robert Wiggins established the family business. We are founder members of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) and have won awards on three separate occasions at the Associations’ Annual Awards Ceremony. We are also Hampton Court Flower Show medallists and multiple winners of other Royal Horticultural Society awards.
The Position:
Due to expansion we are looking for a landscape operative to join the company based in Chartham Hatch near Canterbury; specialising in high quality private garden design-and-build projects, predominantly in Kent.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assisting in the constructing of private gardens
- Working on a range of different landscaping projects
- Involvement with both hard and soft landscaping operations
Key Requirements:
- Some recent experience of landscaping, gardening, ground-works or construction (in a commercial/professional working environment – not your own garden)
- An aptitude for physical, sometimes strenuous work in all weathers
- A personable manner and positive attitude
- A desire to work within a small team creating high quality landscapes
- A reliable means to get to our yard for 7.30am daily
- A driving licence (full and clean) is desirable but not essential
