The Role:
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Landscape Operatives. The successful candidate will earn £10.00-£14.00 per hour. The position is based at the company’s yard within Aberdeen City. All travel to and from sites and the yard is fully paid, as is travel between work sites.
Following an Interview, successful applicants will be required to work a probationary period of 12 weeks before being offered a written contract for full-time employment Salary will be based on experience and ability.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, litter picking on various sites across the region.
- Should have the ability to follow instructions from the Foreperson/Team Leader and carry out the delegated tasks without the need for constant supervision.
- Completing works within the given timescales and to a high standard.
- Adherence to safe working practices.
- You will have the benefit of using high quality tools and equipment which are regularly updated. Full in-house support for any breakdowns. You will not be trying to do a job with unsuitable, old and unreliable tools.
Candidate Requirements:
- You must have a full UK Driving Licence, applications from non-licence holders will not be considered.
- Ideally knowledge and experience in Garden and Grounds maintenance. Applications are also welcome from individuals without relevant experience but who can clearly display a positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
- To be considered for a team leader role, supervisory experience, ideally in a Garden, Grounds, Golf etc environment would be beneficial.
- Experience of manual outdoor work.
- Full UK driving licence is essential. Applications from non and provisional licence holders will not be considered.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physically fit.
- Strong ability to lead and/or work in a team.
