Bruton Knowles LLP is an independently owned Chartered Surveying practice who provide a comprehensive range of surveying and property services.
We are currently looking for candidates who have experience in land and property to join a dynamic team across Wales. Not one day will be the same. You will not be constrained to the office or home every day as you will be out onsite meeting clients and landowners. The role:
- There will be a wide variety of tasks supporting the delivery of national infrastructure and utilities contracts including road, rail, and utilities, with the opportunity to progress to a Project Manager level.

Info regarding the role:
- Facilitate delivery of land referencing, negotiating land rights and dealing with compensation claims
- To deliver a high quality service to clients and team colleague
- To provide appropriate assistance, technical skills and services to the team
- To assist in the delivery of specific activities set
The Candidate:
- Driving Licence is essential.
- Formal qualification or working towards a level that is accredited by the RICS and/or qualified as a Technical or Member of the RICS is preferred but not essential.
Essential Criteria:
- A good working knowledge of IT is essential, in particular a familiarity with and understanding of the Microsoft Office packages including MS Excel, MS Outlook and preferably good keyboard skills.
- Self-starter with good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and clients
- The ability to work in an organised and methodical fashion, with a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to supervise less experiences colleagues
- The ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
- A willingness to be part of a team and to interact with other professional staff
Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Project Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Project QS, Estimator, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Assistant QS, Estimator, Project Estimator, Cost Estimator, Technical Project Estimator may also be considered for this role.
