The Role
They are looking for confident, hardworking and quick thinking assistants for the laboratory in Sittingbourne. All applicants must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with working hours.
This is a microbiology laboratory where they test water samples.
You will be responsible for processing samples in the laboratory, carrying out testing on the water samples, dealing with customer queries, sorting & labelling samples, helping in lab preparatory tasks, sending out reports to customers, arranging collections etc.
Skills and Experience
Since this is an entry level role there is no experience required, all they ask for is an interest in Science (A-Levels or equivalent, school leavers can also apply). All further training is provided.
It would be beneficial for all applicants to have a basic knowledge of Excel and Word, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to work in a very fast paced environment.
