We work with some World-famous brands, the majority of which are in the Motorsport industry however, we also supply products into the Aerospace, MOD and Marine industries so as you can imagine quality is of the utmost importance. We have a specially kitted out workshop, one that you would be proud to work in which is located conveniently just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. We are recruiting for lots of new team members due to huge growth within our order books.
Job Purpose:
To be an effective key point of contact between ATL and our key customers, ensuring effective management of pricing, schedules, quality requirements and pipeline projects.
The Job
As a Key Account Manager, you will be expected to work within a busy Sales & Marketing team, responsible for Customer Relationship Management within the department.
Main Duties:
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
- Developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs.
- Respond to customers queries in timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.
- Regular and clear communication with your line manager to update them on current status.
- Monitoring Sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and reporting.
- Suggest methods to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Co-ordinate all elements of customer relations with internal ATL departments.
- Attend networking events & exhibitions to present the business in existing and new markets.
- Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy.
- Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives.
The Person and Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant field or relevant industry knowledge/experience
Experience
- Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or executive.
- Hands on experience in Sales and an ability to deliver.
- An interest in Motorsport is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Required to develop an in-depth knowledge of ATL’s products and capabilities.
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
