Job Title: Key Account Manager

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum Depending on Experience

Currock Engineering Co Ltd are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager, for a growing Defence and Aerospace Precision Engineering Company. The company has scheduled orders out to 2025. This is an exciting and demanding role which requires excellent communication skill.
Job Specification:
- The role primarily involves liaising with customers and suppliers to assist in managing a busy engineering workshop.
- You will develop long-term customer relationships, discuss technical content and manage the open order book. This will be reported to the customer weekly with daily communication taking place as required. You will report to the Operations Manager. The company is a tight-knit, team-based company so teamwork is a key focus of the role.
Essential Requirements:
- Worked in a Manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work closely with various internal departments to ensuring good communication is maintained internally and with the customer
- Manage priorities internally to ensure customer deliveries
- Worked in a customer facing role
- To have good understanding in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with working with customers and managing sales order books
- Demonstrated good communication skills and administration skills
Desirable Experience:
- Precision Engineering experience
- Machining / Automation
- Experienced in the Defence and Aerospace sector
