Job Title: Junior / Trainee Management Accountant
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £24k – £34k per annum
Job type: Full Time – Permanent.
King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business based in Avonmouth, Bristol, providing mobile crane hire and plant/machinery movement from depots across the south of England. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry.
We are seeking a Trainee Management Accountant to be based at our Head Office to support the finance team as follows:
- Assist in performing general ledger functions and costs control
- Reconciliation of various Bank Accounts
- Fixed asset register and reconciliation of various elements of purchase and operating Leases
- PAYE & VAT reconciliation
You will also be involved in analysing financial data, providing general finance support and job costing development for senior management, ownership and development of various complex excel reporting models and preparation of the statutory accounts.
Experience Required:
- Currently working within an Accountancy role.
- AAT qualified or working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, qualified by experience will be considered.
- Capable of working under own volition in support of the Finance Director and Senior Management Accountant.
- VAT / PAYE / Payroll experience.
- Effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with complex models.
