The Company are looking for a junior Project Manager to join their PMO team and grow your career with us, managing projects across a diverse and varied client project portfolio.
‘Day to day’ tasks: (what you will be doing!)
- Working with a Senior Project Manager to effectively manage the Project Management Plan: plans, project initiation document, maintaining actions/issues/risk logs, CRs for a portfolio of clients
- Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Defining project tasks and resource requirements
- Assembling and coordinating project staff
- Managing project resource allocation
- Planning and scheduling project timelines
- Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Working to strict deadlines for delivery
- Maintaining confidentiality within all aspects of the job role
- Administrative and ad hoc activities as required
Absolute musts for the role:
- Experience of managing a small-scale project or some resource management experience
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people
- Ability to remain calm under pressure with ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
