Job Title: Junior Estimator

Job type: Full Time with occasional travel to sites in the South region. Office hours will be Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm.
T&T Façades is an award winning, specialist construction contractor based in Fareham, Hampshire. We design, supply and install the full range of cladding and façade systems for both new builds and cladding remediation projects in both a Principle Contractor and Subcontractor role.
We have been specialists in rainscreen cladding since 2000, installing all the major façade systems from SFS framing substructure and aluminium glazing systems to bespoke façade solutions. We also install external wall insulation (EWI) render systems to offer the complete façade package.
Our services include full in-house design, supply and installation including on-site project management. As we continue our sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Junior Estimator to join our friendly team.

The role:
Reporting to the Senior Estimator, the Junior Estimator will assist the department in winning tenders for new construction contracts across a diverse range of sectors. The successful candidate will benefit from a strong management team, support and guidance in the role and the ability to progress within the company.
The Candidate:
- Ideally good knowledge of Construction
- Organised and methodical with a keen eye for detail
- Numerate and proficient with MS Excel
- Ideally based in or around Fareham
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Evaluate client’s enquiry documents to understand the scope of works.
- Correspond with the client and seek clarification over any omissions or conflicting documentation.
- Obtain quotations for supply of materials and sub-contract elements.
- Compile quotations inc. material, plant and labour costs for review.
- Draft formal quotations, prepare documentation supporting our proposals.
- Follow up quotation submissions – communicate with the client at various stages of the tender process and prepare quotation revisions as required.
- Attend internal meeting once a contract has been won, assisting in handing the project over to the design, commercial and contract management teams.
- Attend regular estimating review meetings.
