Job Title: Junior CAD Draughtsperson
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £19,000 – £24,500
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The role & responsibilities:
- Interpretation of customer’s requirements from drawings or computer models
- Negotiating / liaising with customers and suppliers face to face or via telephone
- Involvement in all processes from quotations, sales orders and purchasing
- Supporting engineering with detailed 2D and 3D drawings suitable for manufacturing
- Create renders for customer approval
- Liaison with material and subcontract service suppliers
- Preparation of works orders and operation routes
Knowledge and skills:
- A highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role or CAD environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritising your workload within a fast-paced changing environment, proving a high degree of self-motivation
- Demonstrating a willingness to support others in all areas of the business
- Proficient with using computers, MS Office, databases, and spreadsheets
Experience:
- Must have some CAD experience
- Experience in a subcontract engineering, sheet metal background or with Solidworks would be advantageous
- Previously worked under an ISO controlled system
