About the role:
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist – 2nd or 3rd Line to join our Technical Team, either working from the Manchester or Newbury office. We offer some flexibility to work from home.
You will possess a range of infrastructure skills, have demonstrable experience of working as part of a busy helpdesk team and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service all the time.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone currently working as an IT Specialist -2nd or 3rd Line or someone looking to progress into a dedicated role at this level, in a supportive and friendly team environment. Experience of MSP and or Hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
Experience:
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across a client base which specialiSMEs and/or Hospitality via remote connectivity, telephone, or Teams
- Familiarity WITH PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask, AEM and IT Glue to provide enhanced support services to all our clients
- Experience in remote diagnostics along with analysis and monitoring
- Experience of delivering the highest levels of customer service
- Takes enjoyment from working as a core member of a technical team
- IT related degree or equivalent is highly desirable
Technical Experience:
- Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions including MS 365 and Azure suites
- Proven experience with Desktop & Server solutions across the Microsoft stack
- Experience working with Security & Network infrastructure preferred
- Overall appreciation of client system security, requirements and proven experience with relevant software and hardware solutions
- Overview ISP solutions and connectivity requirements
- Wi-Fi solution experience & knowledge
- Experience of Hospitality products such as PMS and POS systems and associated interfaces is beneficial
- Understanding around core IT compliance for GDPR & PCI/DSS etc.
- Candidates with Microsoft Certifications would prove advantageous
