Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: Norwich

Salary: Up to £30k per annum DOE + OTE (Competitive)

Job type: Full Time – Permanent. (Office based, with travel to customer sites)

Onyx IT is an experienced & professional MSP that has been installing IT infrastructure and accompanying IT services and rapid and reliable IT support to business in Norfolk and throughout East Anglia for over 30 years.

The role;

As a respected and long-established Managed Service Provider, our client delivers IT support, Cyber Security and Cloud Services to SMEs. Due to continued success, they are now recruiting an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

About the role;

  • Provide technical support to our customers.
  • Work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel to customer offices when required.
  • Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Completion of Projects as and when required in line with scope of works (Migrations, Rollouts and Implementations).
  • Work as part of the on-call rota.
  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for excellent service delivery and pride in your ability.

You will need;

  • At least four years’ experience in a hands-on technical role.
  • Have a track record of providing exemplary support.
  • A full, valid driving licence.

Essential;

  • Windows Server and Infrastructure skills.
  • Strong Office365 skills.
  • Windows Desktop (/8.1/10/11).
  • Windows Server.
  • Wireless technologies.
  • Networking; Firewalls / Routing.
  • VPN technologies.
  • Telephony solutions.
  • Entry level knowledge of public cloud providers.
