We are currently recruiting for an IT/HR Administrator to provide administrative support to our IT Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and gain valuable specialist experience. The right candidate will have the chance to develop their career.

Job Description

  • Setting up and maintaining users on our numerous systems.
  • Inducting new starters.
  • Completing checklists for new staff, internal promotions, and leavers to ensure a seamless service. The role holder will be responsible for working with the Department Heads and IT team to transfer knowledge and information in a timely manner.
  • Administration support, such as filing, scanning, minute taking in meetings.
  • Working with benefits providers, running ad hoc reports, liaising with Department Managers.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

Person specification

Required Qualifications/Training

  • GCSE Maths, IT and English at Grade C or above (or international equivalent)

Required Attributes

  • Significant previous exposure to Microsoft Office suite – particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong numerical and Administration skills
  • Attention to detail, and ability to work accurately.
  • Able to demonstrate ability to coordinate information.
  • Flexible attitude – ability to prioritise and adapt to constantly shifting priorities.
  • Resilient nature and able to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident on the telephone
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary, Hours, Benefits

  • The starting salary for HR Administrator is £21,500
  • 5 hours preferred (8.30am to 5.30pm Monday-Thursday; 5pm Friday)
  • 3/2 alternative working from home pattern staff after probation
  • 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days (3 days reserved for Christmas closure of the office)
  • 3 holiday buy backs per year after 1 year of service
  • Extra day’s holiday for your birthday after 2 years’ service.
