Job Title: IT Business Relationship Manager
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £45,800 – £53,400 per year depending on experience.
Job type: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week. Can also be based in Wirral (hybrid working)

Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing and end of life care, as well as emotional support, Claire House helps families through some of the toughest times of their lives. It offers places for children to relax and enjoy themselves, whatever their age.
At our site on the Wirral, they can have fun in our multi-sensory room, art room, hydrotherapy pool and jacuzzi. There is a separate wing complete with bar, sound system and Xbox for teenagers and young adults. Whilst their children are having fun, mums and dads get the chance to enjoy some much-needed time off together or the opportunity to spend time with their other children.
The Role:
Claire House has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and influential individual with impressive communication skills and a proven track record building excellent relationships both internally and externally. The successful candidate will work with teams across the charity, agree IT and training requirements as well as being responsible for the security of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report IT performance, challenges and risk to the Executive Leadership Team and trustees
- Work with all business areas to understand operational challenges as well as any current or future requirements for changes to existing technology or new systems/software
- Be part of the IT CAB process representing the voice of the internal customer
- Work with all third-party suppliers, managing SLAs, commercials and renewal or withdrawal of those services
- Work with the project team and representing IT. This will include co-ordinating IT resources, ensuring the business is ready for the change and that all IT core principles are followed
- Be a people person, who is organised with excellent communication skills, and someone who has experience of managing a small team.
Knowledge and experience:
- Educated to degree standard (relevant to the role)
- Experience of working in IT, in a customer service capacity
- Experience of managing 3rd party support suppliers
- Relevant IT qualification
- Understanding of test/change management systems such as JIRA
