William Russell Limited is a successful international provider of health and life insurance for expatriates globally, with its head office in the UK and offices in Hong Kong, and a partnership arrangement in Dubai, Egypt and Indonesia.
Introduction:
William Russell International Claims Executives are key to delivering an expert, high quality, personal, yet always, professional claims service. The department is responsible for managing customers medical and travel claims, proactively contacting members, responding to enquires, loading and processing claims and payments, providing assistance, pre-authorisation and communicating coverage. The International Claims Executive, work in each area of the department, allowing for seamless service delivery.

Provide reassurance, empathy and care in all interactions. Maintain professionalism, whilst ensuring that plan terms and conditions are adhered to and all communication is timely and jargon free. Maintain awareness of cultural differences and requirements in various locations.
Work with the department to ensure targets are met and key functions as determined by your manager are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Whilst providing excellent customer experience and ensuring a seamless delivery, guide customers through the claims process, preauthorise, adjudicate and advise on claims coverage.
- Ensure claims are accurately processed in the system as per terms and conditions.
- Ensure all communication with customers is accurate and correctly represents William Russell.
- Adhere to departmental and company rules and all relevant legislation (FCA & DPA).
- Work within authority limits and achieve agreed KPIs and targets.
Previous experience and essential skills
- Ability to speak a second language is desirable.
- Experience of International private medical insurance is desirable but not essential.
- All round excellent communication skills (empathy, rapport building, influencing, negotiation) including ability to manage challenging communication, achieving desired result.
- Works well under pressure with excellent prioritisation skills.
- Consistently achieves targets in quality and productivity of work.
Other:
The claims team work a 37 ½ hour week but operate from 6 am to 6 pm on shift pattern Monday to Friday. This could increase to include weekends; all applicants must be available to work shifts.
