Job Title: Internal Sales & Design Engineer / Estimator
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

KE Fibertec is the market leader in design, supply, installation, and maintenance of bespoke ventilation products. We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales and Design Engineer / Estimator
The role:
You will join a team tasked with selling a range of innovative ventilation products throughout the UK and Ireland.
As a Sales and Design Engineer / Estimator you will design bespoke ventilation solutions using inhouse software to produce technical proposals. Along with liaising with the sales and technical personnel within the organisation to identify new prospects and new markets to help grow the business.
You will follow the sales process through from customer enquiry, design, quotation, follow up, negotiation, order, and dispatch.
During these processes you will be required to utilise all customer contact points to develop and strengthen B2B relationships.
The successful candidate will also carry out market evaluations to ensure that the company’s products are priced and positioned correctly, undertaking sales process reviews to keep ahead of the competition.

The successful candidate will have:
- Drive, Self- motivation and be results orientated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers
- Highly competent with an eye for detail
- Intelligent with a good memory – able to quickly make sense out of complex information
- Numerate – able to calculate prices, margins etc
- Good computer literacy including Microsoft office, and preferably other software programmes including AutoDesk MEP / AutoCAD for technical drawing review
- Proficiency in CRM software and how to maximise efficiency during the sales process
Ideal experience & knowledge of:
- The HVAC / Building Services sector
- Sales processes, business development, negotiation
- Preparing / managing detailed technical and commercial quotations
- Understanding technical drawings and ventilation schematics
- Dealing with Architects, consultants, and contractors.
- Understanding of air movement / thermodynamic principles
