Job Title: Intellectual Property Analyst / Researcher
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £22,000 per annum

The Company are specialists in Intellectual Property and Corporate investigations worldwide, providing a range of services including anti-counterfeiting, online monitoring, and trademark in use investigations, covert domain name acquisitions, due diligence, tracing, fraud inspections and surveillance. In the UK alone, they have been instructed by eight of the top ten law firms.
The Role:
Key member of the trade mark and brand protection research team, reporting to management and directly to instructing clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload, working both independently and with support from senior analysts
- Conduct desk-based research regarding use or potential use of Intellectual Property Rights, such as trademarks, consulting specialist databases and open source data, presenting findings in comprehensive reports. The report findings are often used to shape the future growth of companies and their brands worldwide.
- Conduct covert on-the-ground investigations with supporting enquiries made by telephone, e-mail, social media, trading platforms and face-to-face
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Law preferable but not essential)
- Additional European language desirable, in particular French, German or Spanish
- Proven research, analytical and time management skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
