The Role
As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the pro-active progression of the installation and commissioning of customers equipment, including revolving doors and security barriers. The role is both challenging and varied.
You will mostly be working as part of a team of installation technicians to complete the installation. You will be liaising with Project Managers and the Office support team to ensure the project is completed to the highest standard within the time frame set. You will overcome challenges including logistics and working alongside other trades.
You will be a confident communicator and display excellent time management skills. You will be technically minded, enjoy problem solving and have a keen interest to ensure health & safety guidelines are adhered too at all times. The role requires regular paperwork to be completed and submitted in a timely manner.
This is a remote role where the successful candidate will be expected to operate on various sites across the UK. There will be the occasional need to stay away from home as well as contribute to weekend working, therefore flexibility of working hours is essential.
You will ideally live in Watford or in the vicinity of the M1/M25 corridor and you must hold a full driving licence.

What are your skills necessary to perform this role:
- Working knowledge of health and safety.
- Currently working within the industry or a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential.
- Technically competent.
- Background in engineering will be an advantage.
- CSCS card holder desirable but not essential.
- EN16005 accredited desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly organised with excellent time management.
- Excellent communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programmes.
- Electrical/ mechanical qualification desirable but not essential.
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or higher
