Job Title: ICT Technician/Engineer
Location: Maldon
Salary: £20,500 – £22,500 per year. Quarterly bonus payable on meeting set teams target.
Job Type: Permanent, Full time. Working hours (as per standard) – 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:30pm. ½ hour lunch (unpaid).
The Role:
- Performing secure data erasure using Blancco.
- Engineering/Fixing ICT Equipment – preparing assets for resale.
- Recording items on to the bespoke database.
- Liaising with Sales teams to identify higher value products for resale.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates in line with the needs of the business.
- Ensuring that the area is clean and all rubbish is removed.
The Candidate:
We are looking for an ICT Technician/Engineer to join our existing, hardworking team. Must be able to work within a Team environment and have ability to work unaided and use initiative when required.
The ideal candidate should possess the following strengths:
- Some experience of database use to be considered an advantage.
- Must be IT literate as accurate data entry is a major part of the role.
- Reliable, organised and trustworthy.
- Must be physically fit as some medium/heavy lifting involved.
- Be able to cope well under pressure.
- Experience in a similar role in a Warehouse environment considered an advantage.
- Be able to work in a highly pressured environment.
- Prioritise workload and any given tasks.
