Job Title: ICT (Infrastructure) Programme Manager

They are recruiting an ICT Infrastructure Programme Manager to join the ICT Programme Management Office. The postholder will be responsible for the successful design, planning and delivery of council wide technology Infrastructure projects in line with the ICT Strategy and Roadmap. The successful candidate will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure Walsall develops and implements a fit for purpose ICT infrastructure and platform onto which the Organisations digital requirements can be built.
Key Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or proven equivalent knowledge gained through significant professional experience
- Industry standard qualification in programme or project management
- Successful track record of designing, planning and delivering technological transformational change initiatives in a large complex organisation in an agile environment
- Successful leadership of digital change programmes comprising of multidisciplinary technical and professional resources delivering complex programmes of work
- Development of organisational capability and capacity (people, processes, technology, knowledge)
- Experience of innovation and change delivery
- Evidence of working collaboratively in cross-organisational teams to deliver shared outcomes
- Evidence of using reporting tools to monitor programme activities and analyse project performance, plans, milestones, budgets and risks
- Good analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools with a demonstrable ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints
- Experience of applying ITIL guiding principles in the development of Infrastructure Programmes
