The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, friendly person to join our I.T. team to deliver support to all employees and assist the I.T. manager to implement and deliver I.T. solutions to the company. The role is based on site, is varied and multi skilled, including network, hardware, software and security maintenance.
What you’ll do:
- Help to support 250 employees.
- Help to Implement cyber security policies.
- Help support the VMWare infrastructure.
- Maintain and deploy the I.T. assets.
- Maintain and support business critical applications.
- Provide suggestions on hardware that needs to be upgraded, ability to analyse the hardware requirements with actual usage requirements.
- Assist with DR and Backup plan design and testing.
- Provide assistance to IT Manager to achieve IT projects/tasks.

Person Specification:
Qualifications –
- Suitable I.T. qualifications at NVQ level 3 and above, or equivalent.
Experience –
- Good knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems.
- Good knowledge of routers, switches, hubs etc.
- Good understanding of cyber security awareness.
- Excellent I.T. problem solving skills.
- Great communication skills.
- Be resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Be inquisitive and stay up to date with industry and technical changes and legislation.
- Be keen to work collaboratively with others to develop shared solutions.
- Basic understanding of Virtualisation technologies.
