Job Title: Hygiene General Labourer

Salary: £28,758 per annum
Job type: Full time / Permanent, 45 Hours per week
Envar Composting is an organic waste and biomass recycling operator specialising in the sustainable and cost-effective processing of waste streams on behalf of local authorities
About the role:
We are currently looking for a General Labourer to join our Hygiene team at our busy composting site in West London.
The successful candidates will be expected to effectively always following our Health and Safety procedures and have good attitude to environment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in a safe way following our Health & Safety procedures and having a good attitude to Environmental issues.
- Monitoring material temperatures using our temperature monitoring systems.
- Keeping the reception/maturation areas clean and tidy.
- Undertake daily checks and basic maintenance.
- Assisting with keeping machines clean and tidy.
- Defect Reporting
- Complying with Site rules, H&S regulations and following safe systems of work.
Essential Requirements:
- Good Communication
- Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
Desirable Requirements:
- Problem solving
- Experience in the waste industry
- Experience working on a picking line
