Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced full-time generalist HR professional who would work in a standalone capacity. The post-holder will have access to support from External HR Employment Advisors. This is an exciting time to join SJMT as the charity is going through a period of growth.
Key duties:
- To provide a human resources advisory support for line Managers and Staff at SJMT.
- To manage the human resources administrative and database systems.
- To provide support and advice to managers and staff on all matters relating to Human Resources policies and procedures, required standards and legal obligations.
- To contribute to the Strategic Plan having an input into setting HR targets and ensuring that these are driven forward and achieved in line with business need.
Key things about you:
- An enhanced DBS check will be taken up for successful candidates
- Relevant practical experience in a generalist professional HR role combined with sound knowledge and practical experience of applying employment law to enable you to effectively manage a caseload and provide professional advice.
- Excellent IT skills
- Flexible, reliable and adaptable
- Ability to communicate well with all levels within the organisation
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good knowledge of employment legislation
- CIPD Level 3 minimum
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
