Job Title: Permanent Full Time HR / ER Advisor
Location: Position available in Gateshead (NE11)
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week)
The company are a busy HR and employment law outsourcing business and they are currently looking to add to their professional and dedicated team of HR / Employment Law Advisors. They currently have an opportunity at their head office in Gateshead Tyne & Wear, for a full time HR Advisor, to support the management of a portfolio of clients.
This is an extremely customer-focused role (internal and external), which involves providing HR, employee relations and employment law advice to managers and business owners, from across a wide variety of business disciplines, on issues including; employee relations, performance management, reward & recognition, staff development, redundancy and TUPE transfers. As well as contributing to HR projects and working with other team members to achieve objectives.
The role is suitable for an extremely proactive, reliable professional, who is very comfortable working as part of a in a very collaborative environment. Excellent relationship management is essential.
There will the requirement for some limited travel throughout the UK to visit clients, but essentially the role is office based.
You must be able to demonstrate practical experience of advising on:
- Complex disciplinary and grievance issues
- Redundancy and restructure processes
- Absence management
- Performance management
Candidates, ideally, should be CIPD qualified or studying towards membership or equivalent.
Current generalist HR experience and knowledge of employment law and how to apply it to a variety of scenarios to ensure best practice is essential and well as the ability to work within a fast paced, high volume environment.
A team player, you will have outstanding communication and influencing skills.
