Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Coventry

Salary: £28k – £32k per annum DOE

About The Role:

Due to significant and ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit an HR Advisor to join our team in Coventry. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting Managers across the business through a whole range of generalist HR requirements by supporting Line Managers with all employee relations activities including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and capability/performance related matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to improve processes and policies values
  • Support with reviewing updating policies and procedures in line with legislation
  • Help to build and deliver best practice across the group to help to embed our HR ethos and values
  • Support with the delivery of HR related training and coaching
  • Assist with key HR projects, such as the People Team’s Project Ignite

About You:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with a diverse workforce
  • CIPD level 3 or higher
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Ability to coach, influence and challenge appropriately
  • Resilience and flexibility to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
