Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Royds Hall, Bradford

The Role:
Daily
Clean all rooms
- Make beds, tidy bedrooms,
- Living rooms, hall, games & music room (if required)
- Dust, clean / wipe / polish all surfaces
- Dust all pictures, wipe clean mirrors, empty all bins
Clean kitchen
- Wash pots, empty dishwasher, load dishwasher
- Wipe clean equipment; coffee machine, toaster, kettle
Clean bathrooms
- Toilet, shower, sink, counters, mirrors
Laundry
- Gather all washing from various rooms
- Wash, dry (either hang outside / rack indoors / dryer)
- Iron all washed clothes
- Put away ironing in relevant wardrobes
Floors
- Vacuum all carpets
- Sweep all hard floors
- Mop all hard floors
Cooking as required
Weekly
- Change bedding on fridays in all rooms
- Clean all windowsills (bedrooms, move items on display)
- Clean inside kitchen cupboards (esp bread bin, cereal cupboard)
- Clean fridges (all 3)
- Clean microwaves
Bi – weekly
- Polish staircases
- Polish all woodwork
- Gym – clean all equipment
- Steam room – glass clean shower, steam room, clean floor
Monthly
- Brass polish
- Clean fireplaces
- Glass polish in glass cupboards
- Clean bathroom cupboard doors
- Clean windows from inside, wipe clean all doors and handles
Miscellaneous
- Rubbish bags to be thrown in outside bins. Bin collection day is Tuesday
- Glass bottles to be put outside in bottle tub for recycle, collection is every second Thursday
- Vacuum cleaner to be emptied when full
- Toilet rolls or soap to be replaced in all bathrooms where needed
- Kitchen paper to be replaced when needed
- Hand towels to be removed and replaced if unclean
- Online grocery shopping to be received, checked off, and put away
- Parcels to be received (signed for) and kept neatly on kitchen counter
- Post to be taken out and put on kitchen counter
- All wardrobes to be maintained and kept neat and organised
- Kitchen and bathroom cupboards to be kept neat and organised
- A very neat and tidy appearance of all spaces is required
