Salary: £26,124 – £27,732 per annum

In this rewarding and challenging role, you will assess the needs of applicants presenting themselves as homeless to the authority, make homeless decisions on applications and help prevent or relieve the applicant’s homeless situation.
About you:
To fulfil this role, we are looking for an experienced professional with a background in housing, homelessness or a similar field with working knowledge of Homeless legislation.
This role can be busy and demanding, therefore it is essential that you have first class organisation skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and to also have a flexible approach to working hours. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle conflict and adopt a firm but fair approach.
