Job Title: Holiday Lettings Manager

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £32,000 – O.T.E

Job type: Full Time

Hours: Monday to Saturday with a day off in Lieu with parking provided.

Quay Holidays is a family-owned business managing 100 high-quality holiday-let properties in and around Poole and Bournemouth. Quay Living, the residential letting and sales arm of Quay Holidays, was established in 2010 and has grown to manage 200 residential units with a successful track-record in residential sales. We are RICS Regulated and ARLA registered. We care about our clients and consistently aim to ensure our owners, tenants and holiday guests enjoy the highest levels of customer service.

The Role

Quay Holidays is a family-owned independent self-catering holiday letting agent working from high-profile premises just off Poole Quay.

This customer-facing role will suit a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys tourism and customer service and relishes working hard as part of a busy, small team. You will be responsible for running the holiday lettings team, marketing and selling local holidays, taking and processing guest bookings, greeting holiday-makers, and making every guest’s experience an enjoyable one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Heading-up the front-of-house team in a pleasant retail environment, marketing high-quality, fully-furnished local apartments and houses for luxury self-catering holidays
  • Helping prospective guests to make bookings by ‘phone and email
  • Handling incoming / outgoing calls
  • Using a specialist booking system to process holiday bookings
  • Devising and monitoring online marketing campaigns
  • Liaising with third-party holiday advertising portals to generate enquiries
  • Ensuring maximum conversion rates from enquiry to booking.
  • Resolving customer queries and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Chasing, collecting and processing payments.

The Candidate:

  • A friendly and outgoing disposition with a can-do attitude and enjoy being part of a happy and successful team.
  • A confident telephone manner.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Experience in retail sales & customer service a bonus.
  • Knowledge of holiday lettings/tourism an advantage.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A good knowledge of the Poole & Bournemouth local area preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Five days a week, Monday to Saturday 9.15am – 6pm, working every Saturday, but with a day off in lieu.
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
