Job Title: Hire Desk Administrator
Location: Coalville, LE67 3FP
Salary: £23,000 – plus bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
BPH is a leading supplier of excavator attachments for sale or hire. With depots in the south and the midlands, we cover the whole of the UK and offer next day delivery for in stock products. We also have a selection of used excavator attachments for sale, and we’re renowned for providing high-quality products and a reliable service.
About the role:
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Will be required to call customers and prospects on behalf of the hire desk
- General ad-hoc administrative duties
- Diarise “day to day” entries of any “on hires/off hires” and deliveries/collections
- Work with Cross Hire Suppliers to secure hire/sales opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships
- Resolve any customer issues
- Assist with staff weekly timesheets
- Assist in the working out of private mileage
- Stores administrative duties
- To assist with transport and logistics planning
- To assist in covering the depot in the depot managers absence
About you:
- Good eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good team player
- Excellent IT Skills
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- A confident and flexible attitude
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a hire company is an advantage but not essential
- Previous Experience of CRM programme an advantage but not essential
- You will need to adhere to and promote compliance with current H&S legislation and company specific H&S policies
