Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Curdridge, Southampton, SO32 2DA
Salary: £12.00 an hour plus overtime
Job type: Permanent, Full time (subject to a 3 month probationary period)
Yard Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 16.30 pm
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Driver to join our busy team. We pride ourselves on providing high quality goods at competitive prices and we supply to both the Trade & Retail markets.
With 50 years of experience and thousands of delighted customers, the company is highly regarded for its professional garden design, construction and maintenance. We want to remain as the Southern Hampshire premier Garden Landscaping Company.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering landscape materials to our customers and landscape teams.
- Manual handling – Lifting and moving stock / Organising stock / Picking orders as and when required
- Keeping the yard and surrounding site clean and tidy.
- Additional Duties – Loading/unloading of deliveries using a forklift

Essential:
- Experience working in a builder’s merchants
- HGV Class 2 driving licence
- CPC qualification
- Multi drop experience
- HIAB experience.
Desirable:
- Experience using a Loading Shovel
- Landscape hard goods & aggregates knowledge
- Forklift licence
Based in Curdridge, Southampton the company’s services cover the whole of Hampshire and into the surrounding counties. Due the location of our Yard the right candidate will require their own transport.
