Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Coalville
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Job type: Full Time – Permanent.
What we are looking for:
Board24 is currently looking for a highly driven individual with a passion for Health & Safety to lead our ‘Make it safe’ mission at our Coalville site. This is a hands-on role, working closely with site leaders and site personnel to identify and resolve Health & Safety issues and deliver best practice throughout the site.
The successful candidate will have a history of driving Health & Safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment and must be proactive with an inquisitive nature. Delivering our mission may involve cultural changes therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels to influence change is essential.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Providing data and reports to site/senior management
- Manage the site risk register
- Work with the Group HS&E Manager to develop and implement group wide projects and initiatives
- Coach and develop leaders to enable them to improve their approach and performance
- Ensure a robust and effective health and safety management system is in place
- Undertake investigations of significant incidents
- Manage and deliver training programs to develop competencies.
- Carry out and maintain relevant site induction program for new starters
- Lead on BRC accreditation
