Job Title: Head of Supply Chain
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum

The Role:
Due to an exciting new strategy leading to growth, we are looking for a Head of Supply Chain. As part of the team you will:
- Build the Preferred Supplier List to rationalise the number of suppliers, increase buying power, increase the variety of waste streams and postcodes covered
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all suppliers including those on the Preferred Supplier List and specialist service suppliers.
- Act as point of contact for specialist and new suppliers until they are imbedded.
- Source, complete, process and record all relevant supply chain paperwork.
- Negotiate annual price increase with suppliers
- Support the Sales team on tender pricing, liaising with suppliers to ensure we have accurate and specific commercials in order to bid on major sales opportunities.
- Support the Sales team with mobilisation support and liaison with supply partners to ensure service and set up success.
- Perform supplier audits.
- Maintain supplier compliance requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
- Extensive experience of supply chain management Is essential preferably in the waste industry or similar
- Strong negotiating skills with a proven track record of successful supplier negotiations
- Good time management and organisational skills
- A very personable ‘can do’ attitude with an ability to build strong relationships and Influence decisions
- High levels of resilience and flexibility
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Commercially aware and takes pride in the quality and standard of their work
