The Candidate:
We are seeking an inspirational people manager who will lead the Estates and Hotel Services teams, including volunteers, through a culture of empowerment and trust. The position requires someone who is highly organised with excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively across the organisation.
The Role:
Claire House is looking for a Head of Estates, with experience across a multi-faceted organisation who is looking for a new opportunity and challenge to develop this innovative role at the hospice.
This role is responsible for the delivery of excellent Estates and Hotel Services at Claire House and for ensuring a high-quality environment for children, young people, staff, volunteers, and visitors to Claire House across two sites, on the Wirral and in Liverpool. The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental health, CQC and other relevant legislative requirements.
They will play a lead role in the long-term development of our sites and facilities, especially ‘Claire House Liverpool’ which we’ll be developing plans for during 2023. Project management, procurement and developing strategy in line with the charity’s strategic plan are key elements of the role; and the post holder will play an active role in the Claire House Leadership Team.
