About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Content to join our busy team. Reporting to the Director of Public Engagement, you will lead and manage the team responsible for the delivery of Bletchley Park’s exhibitions, collections and archive management, oral history and research.
We have just moved into our dedicated Collections Centre, so it’s a great time to join us. This is an excellent opportunity to improve how we operate in core areas and how we care for and catalogue our collections.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the management of the historic fabric of the museum’s assets and creative implementation of the Bletchley Park story through exhibitions and interpretation, supporting the wider team with the design and development of onsite and digital content.
The ideal candidate:
You will have demonstratable experience of leading and developing a large team and collections for public access within the museums and heritage industry. You will be a confident self-starter with strong interpersonal, contract and project management skills. Good IT skills including the ability to use Google Docs, MS office, and word processing and spreadsheets is a must.
This position is full time, working 37.5 hours each week, usually Monday to Friday 9.00 until 17.00. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as required.
