The Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time position based in Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate’s salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
Normal working hours will be 7am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-3.00pm Friday.
Following an interview, successful applicants will be required to work a probationary period of 12 weeks before being offered a written contract for full-time employment.
Role Requirements (Only candidates with the following experience will be considered):
- Full Manual UK driving licence. – Essential requirement – Applicants need not apply if they do not have this.
- Physically fit.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Strong ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health & safety and safe site working practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in hard landscaping and building preferable. Applications are also welcome from individuals without relevant experience but who can clearly display a positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Experience of manual outdoor work.
- Experience in landscape construction including paving, wall construction, timber and joinery work, fencing etc.
- Experience in soft landscaping including ground preparation, seeding, turfing, planting etc.

Role Responsibilities:
- All aspects of hard landscape construction. Primarily on domestic gardens, but with some commercial settings too.
- Should have the ability to follow instructions from the Foreperson/Team Leader and carry out the delegated tasks without the need for constant supervision.
- Completing works within the given timescales and to a high standard.
- Adherence to safe working practices.
- You will have the benefit of using high quality tools and equipment which are regularly updated. Full in-house support for any breakdowns. You will not be trying to do a job with unsuitable, old and unreliable tools.
