Check-Mait Limited are seeking good all-round MULTI-SKILLED TRADERS or experienced handymen/women to fulfil varied field-based REACTIVE MAINTENANCE engagements in private tenanted residential properties and apartment blocks
Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience working in property maintenance, ideally coming from a Reactive Maintenance background.
Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates must:
- Possess a wide variety of trade skills
- Have their own tools
- Use their own smart phone for daily schedule, submitting job reports/photos & general communication (mobile allowance paid)
- Read, write and speak English to a good standard
- Be available to work weekends on rota (overtime)
We are a young, growing business currently covering London, Home Counties and South East. This is a field-based role where you start and finish each day’s assignments from home. A company vehicle can be provided for permanent staff, or own van can be used if it reaches acceptable standard (including ULEZ compliance).
Skills Required:
- Plumbing (e.g. repair taps, toilets, overflows, radiators)
- Electrics (Basic or part qualified) (e.g. change sockets)
- Finding leaks & making good
- Painting & decorating
- Basic Drainage (unblocking toilets, sinks, drains)
- Basic Carpentry (boarding windows)
- Adjusting doors & closers
- Replacing locks
- Replacing gates & fencing
- Hanging window blinds
- Replace silicone around shower trays/basins/sinks
