About the Role:
The Council’s In House Development Team are looking for a Groundworker with Supervision to lead the new build Groundworks team. The new build team are responsible for the development of council owned land and the creation of new build council houses throughout the district.
Main Accountabilities:
- Carry out groundworks as per works order specification
- Carry out reasonable allied duties as and when required
- Comply with requirements relating to vehicle use & maintenance
- Make full use of the Council’s multi-skill agreement
- Lead trade on development new build sites – overseeing other trades and reporting to Site Manager
The Candidate:
Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate that they can undertake a groundworks role and should have some line management experience, and be able to demonstrate some general trade skills and the ability to carry out all work to a good standard.
A knowledge of Construction Health & Safety and Building Regulations is required. A full driving licence is required.
