Job Title: Ground Worker
Location: Aldershot, Ash
Salary: £18,198.00 (£9.43 Hourly Rate) (Plus £626 Outer London Fringe Allowance.)
Job type: Full time, Permanent (37 hours a week Monday to Friday 07.30 till 16:00 (½ hour lunch break) and Friday 07.30 till 12 :30. Overtime shifts may also be available)
We have an opportunity for a full time Gardener/ Grounds person to support the staff of a small but busy grounds maintenance team within the Parish of Ash. This is an opportunity to help maintain parks and open spaces, floral displays, carry out grass cutting and assisting with the preparation of sports surfaces and events.
You will need a degree of physical fitness and an aptitude for working outdoors, along with an interest in gardening and a desire to learn on the job.

Useful Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of horticulture, manual handling and working on highways would also be useful but not essential in this role.
- A Valid licence to drive in the UK in order to drive Parish vehicles around sites would be an advantage.
