Job Title: Graduate Environmental Engineer

Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum

The Company is an independent, integrated environmental, health and safety, energy consulting and engineering firm, and was established in 1996 in Glasgow, Scotland. Since then, the firm has grown to employ motivated engineers, scientists and supporting professionals across the U.K. They have regional offices in: Belfast, Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, Inverness, Middlesbrough and Liverpool.
The firm is seeking to recruit a Graduate Environmental Engineer to join their growing team based in their newly-opened Liverpool office. The position may require travel, occasional overnight stays throughout the U.K., and further afield depending on project requirements – a valid passport and photo ID is required.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess an Honours Degree or higher in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering, the Physical Sciences or similar and have a have a full U.K. driving licence with clean driver record.
They would be happy to consider newly-qualified applicants or applicants with one to two years’ experience in industry or in a consultancy role. The ideal candidate should have demonstrable interest in one or more of the following:
- Water and air pollution control strategies/technologies
- Water management and water efficiency techniques
- Air quality management and impact assessment
- Other resource efficiency and waste minimisation strategies/technologies
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Process Engineering team and will be involved in all aspects of professional input to environmental engineering projects. The successful candidate will also support the growth and expansion of the firm through providing support to marketing and business development activities.
